Job Summary:
The Business Development Associate plays a key role in supporting management and driving the company’s growth. This role combines customer engagement, sales support, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and long-term business success. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to gain exposure across different aspects of the business while contributing to strategy and execution.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist management in daily operations, including sales, customer service, and administrative tasks.
Engage with potential and existing customers to drive sales, introduce new products, and build long-term relationships.
Support sales activities by preparing quotations, sending price lists, coordinating sample submissions, and following up on leads.
Track and monitor project timelines (e.g., new market expansion, business initiatives) and provide regular updates to management.
Interact and co-operate with various departments including purchasing, marketing, finance, and human resource departments.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, logistics) to ensure smooth execution of business activities.
Prepare and maintain organized records such as statements of accounts, invoices, and customer correspondence.
Participate in strategy discussions, contribute ideas for growth opportunities, and support the implementation of business initiatives.
Gain exposure across different departments to build a holistic understanding of the company’s operations and develop leadership skills.
Job Requirements:
Minimum GCE 'O' Level or Diploma in a related field.
Proven experience in business development, sales support, or administrative roles is an advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented mindset.
Analytical thinker with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable and dedicated, with a positive attitude.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 8.00am to 5.30pm
