Job Description:
Sourcing and Procurement:
Develop plan, and execute strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives to identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers supporting organizational growth.
Lead contract negotiations and supplier agreements to achieve cost savings, value creation, and reliable delivery performance.
Ensure procurement strategies align with business objectives, trade compliance, and inventory optimization targets.
Leverage market intelligence, cost analysis, and benchmarking to drive continuous improvement and competitive advantage.
Promote ethical and sustainable sourcing practices consistent with organisational values.
Supplier Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent product quality, service reliability, and operational excellence.
Oversee supplier qualification, audits, and performance reviews, proactively mitigating supply and quality risks.
Negotiate and manage long-term agreements and cost-improvement programs, fostering innovation and collaboration.
Serve as a liaison for resolving supplier-related delivery, quality, and compliance issues.
Process Enhancement:
Collaborate across functional teams to streamline sourcing and procurement workflows for improved efficiency, transparency, and compliance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using analytics and best practices to enhance procurement governance and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure full adherence to trade compliance, export control, and international regulatory requirements.
Analysis and Reporting:
Monitor and analyze key procurement and supply chain KPIs, including cost performance, supplier reliability, and on-time delivery.
Prepare and present management reports highlighting trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and budget planning.
Product Returns:
Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to manage product returns, recalls, or non-conformance investigations.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to enhance supplier quality and accountability.
Maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure traceability and compliance with quality standards.
Requirements:
Min Degree in Supply Chain Management or related disciplines.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in strategic procurement or sourcing within the Oil & Gas, Chemical, or related industries.
Strong understanding of international trade, regulatory, and compliance standards (e.g., ECCN, COO, export controls).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Professional certification (e.g., APICS CSCP, CIPS, or equivalent) is an advantage.
