Work Description

• Perform preventive & corrective maintenance for the static & rotating equipment of on-site equipment which is related to industrial gas & cryogenic products. Includes pressure vessel, manual and actuator valve, cryogenic booster pump, gas manifold etc.

• Perform ad-hoc engineering support & projects which are related to gas service.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and execute assigned engineering tasks.

• Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of gas supply facilities and related equipment.

• Design, plan and estimate project costs, and present findings.

• Prepare technical drawings.

• Generate monthly maintenance and engineering reports.

• Provide technical training to staff.

• Evaluate and source materials, subcontractors, and suppliers.

• Ensure compliance with government regulations.

• Respond to emergencies and perform standby backup work.

• Ensure work follows standard procedure and safe practices.

• Undertake any duties assigned by supervisors.

• Safety Compliance: Engineer is authorized to stop work and report any unsafe acts or conditions, and ensure compliance with all applicable Health and Safety regulations and procedures.

• Policies: Adhere to established quality, environmental protection, health and safety policies and procedures.
  

Qualification & Skills

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering.

• Experience in gas or medical gas systems.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD will be an advantage.

• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, business acumen and financial knowledge.

• Able to adapt well in fast-paced environments.

• Understanding how to read general P&ID layout diagram, mechanical & electrical diagram.

• Good to have MOM mandatory WSQ certification (AWSHPP, WAH, shipyard & construction).

• Good to have full class 3 driving license.
