Job Responsibilities
Manage digital content ingest, playlist creation, and scheduling via cinema servers (DCP, TMS/LMS).
Ensure accurate programming and timely playback of films, trailers, and ads.
Coordinate delivery, availability, and dispatch of digital film packages (DCPs, KDMs).
Operate and monitor digital projection and AV systems for screenings.
Perform regular equipment checks, basic maintenance, and coordinate repairs.
Troubleshoot projection, sound, and automation system issues promptly.
Set up and operate AV systems for live, VR, and hybrid events.
Manage signal routing and live video/audio feeds during events.
Support and operate VR systems, including headsets and sensors.
Collaborate with lighting/audio teams for AVL configuration and rehearsals.
Ensure technical maintenance, safety checks, and proper calibration of cinema equipment.
Maintain technical documentation, safety protocols, and inventory records.
Supervise technical/projection staff and handle roster planning and training.
Address staff conduct issues and ensure team discipline.
Liaise with internal teams and senior management on technical operations and support event coordination.
Job Requirements
Diploma or degree in Film Technology, Electronics, AV Engineering, IT, or a related technical field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in cinema projection operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong technical knowledge of projection systems and equipment.
Experience in operating and maintaining cinema projection equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Familiarity with digital and film projection formats.
Leadership and staff supervision skills.
Ability to manage schedules, rosters, and maintenance plans.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Understanding of workplace discipline and emergency protocols
