About the role
You will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical services to our customers . This full-time position will see you work closely with the pharmacy team to maintain operational efficiency and provide expert advice and guidance to patients. Leveraging your extensive experience, you will help drive continuous improvement initiatives and mentor junior pharmacists to elevate our standard of care.
What you'll be doing
Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
Provide professional pharmaceutical advice and education to patients on the safe and effective use of medications
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement innovative patient-centric programmes
Mentor and train junior pharmacists, fostering their professional development
Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and the patient experience
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring the pharmacy's documentation is compliant
Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the pharmacy through your expertise and insights
What we're looking for
Recognised pharmacy degree and current registration as a pharmacist with the relevant governing body
Minimum3 years of experience in Public Hospitals
Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and patient care
Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to make informed decisions on complex pharmaceutical matters
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with patients, healthcare professionals, and the wider team
A collaborative mindset and the ability to mentor and guide junior team members
Adaptability and a commitment to staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
Weekdays
Normal Shift
Mon to Thu: 8.30am to 6pm; Fri: 8.30am to 5.40pm
Open Shop
Mon to Thu: 8am to 5.30pm; Fri: 8am to 5pm
Close Shop
Mon to Thu: 10.30am to 8pm; Fri: 11am to 8pm
Weekends/Public Holidays
Open Shop: 8am to 4pm
Close Shop: 12pm to 8pm
OSH (in between shift): 9.30am to 1.30pm
