Key Responsibilities:

• Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for the payroll system.

• Conduct market and competitor research to identify opportunities and customer pain points.

• Translate business requirements into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Work closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver the MVP and subsequent releases.

• Establish product KPIs, monitor performance, and iterate based on user feedback.

• Manage the product backlog and prioritize features to ensure timely delivery.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (tax, payroll, and data security standards).

• Drive go-to-market planning, pricing, and customer acquisition strategies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, ideally in HRTech, fintech, or payroll/ERP systems.

• Strong understanding of payroll processes, HR operations, and related compliance requirements.

• Demonstrated ability to build and launch products from scratch (0 to 1).

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and make decisions.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).

Preferred:

• Experience in SaaS product development.

• Technical background or understanding of software architecture.

• Knowledge of multiple regional payroll requirements.
