The officer will be responsible for overseeing and managing renovation projects on-site, ensuring that the work is performed in compliance with relevant building codes and regulations and as per tender specifications.
The role involves supervising and coordinating with contractors, maintaining safety standards on-site, and communicating with stakeholders to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of renovation projects
2. Ensure that all renovation work is performed in compliance with relevant building codes and regulations, and as per tender specifications.
3. Conduct site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with safety regulations and procedures
4. Monitor project progress and report any issues or delays to the project team
5. Maintain accurate project records and prepare regular status reports
6. Identify and mitigate project risks
7. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project requirements and handover are met
8. Manage and resolve project-related issues and conflicts
9. Coordinate office shifting activities, including liaising with departments and movers for smooth relocation of departments and staff items.
10. Support packing, unpacking, and organisation of department items during move-in phrases.
Requirements:
1. Diploma or relevant certification in construction management or a related field
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in renovation site supervision or related field
3. Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations in Singapore
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders
6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
7. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks and a good team player
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools
Top three must have strength:
1. Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations in Singapore
