About the Role
We are seeking a Resident Architect (RA) to be stationed full-time on-site to oversee and manage architectural works. The RA will ensure that construction is carried out in accordance with approved designs, statutory requirements, and quality standards, while providing technical advice and coordination support.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced architect who thrives in a site environment and is passionate about safeguarding design integrity while driving project quality.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and ensure architectural works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and statutory regulations (BCA, URA, SCDF, NEA, etc.).
Review shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements.
Conduct regular site inspections, prepare reports, and address non-conformance issues.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other trades (MEP, structural, ID) to resolve site matters.
Maintain accurate project documentation and issue memos/instructions as authorised.
Support TOP/CSC inspections and manage defect rectification works.
Promote site safety and ensure compliance with workplace requirements.
Requirements
Degree in Architecture from a recognised university.
Registered Architect (or eligible) under the Board of Architects Singapore.
Minimum 5 years’ relevant site supervision experience on large-scale projects (commercial, industrial, institutional, or residential).
Strong knowledge of construction methods, detailing, and local building codes.
Excellent coordination and communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD and/or BIM viewing tools.
Independent, detail-oriented, and able to exercise sound professional judgment.
Additional Information
Full-time, site-based position in Singapore.
May involve short-term overseas travel (including China).
Willingness to work overtime or weekends when required by project progress.
