UCT is looking for a talented IT Infrastructure Engineer to join us in Singapore!
Job Summary:
The IT Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise network systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability. This role leads configuration management, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of LAN, WLAN, VoIP, and SDWAN technologies. Serving as a technical escalation point, the engineer collaborates across global teams, leverages monitoring tools, and maintains documentation to support business objectives and drive operational excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform and track network configuration changes on switches, routers, and wireless controllers.
Deploy and manage functional networks for LAN, VoIP, WLAN, and SDWAN.
Oversee the ongoing development and operations of network management systems to ensure reliability and performance.
Test and ensure network functionality and resiliency.
Perform configuration improvements and software updates on network equipment.
Able to independently identify, troubleshoot, and isolate any network issues.
Utilize network monitoring tools to analyze network traffic, uptime, and provide reports.
Create and maintain network diagrams and documentation.
Collaborate with global teams to accomplish IT and business goals.
Serve as escalation point to Tier 1 support team.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong knowledge and foundation of network routing and switching.
Strong experience with Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, and NX-OS.
Wireless networking fundamentals.
Experience and understanding of SD-WAN appliances.
Fundamental understanding of NGFWs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with scripting (Python, Ansible).
Educational/Certification Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/certifications.
Technical certifications: Cisco CCNA or higher.
Work Experience Requirements:
Minimum 5-year experience working in Information Technology roles.
Minimum 3-year experience with advanced administration of Cisco routers and switches.
Minimum 3-year experience building, deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting wireless LAN.
