Purpose of Position:
To expedite the inbound and outbound orders of goods as per customer requests, whilst maintaining a high quality of service and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and company quality procedures.
Key Accountabilities:
-Unload, inspect, check and store cargo
-Process unpack reports for the cargo
-Process inbound and outbound orders
-Pick and pack as required
-Process inventory spot audits
-Stock takes to ensure accurate inventory levels
-Working closely with both internal and external customers
-General warehouse duties, including cleaning
WH&S
-Have a responsibility to report any unsafe practices to the Warehouse Manager
-Have a duty to perform work tasks as instructed by the Warehouse Manager and ensure they do not put themselves or co-workers at risk of injury or ill health
-Only operate equipment they are trained and competent and authorised to operate
-Participate in WHS activities like inspections, meetings, investigations and the like
Mandatory Accountabilities for all Positions:
-Takes all practicable steps to ensure safety at work and that no action or inaction causes harm to anyone else
-Reports all hazards, accidents, near misses, or unsafe conditions to manager and records as soon as possible
-Understands and complies with Röhlig health and safety policies and guidelines
-Understands and complies with Röhlig policies and procedures
-Adheres to Röhlig global process standards in daily work to ensure a high quality customer experience is delivered to all customers, internal and external
-Behaves and performs in accordance with Röhlig company values (Solid / Vivid / Committed), and strives to encompass them in day to day business
Required criteria:
-Experience in a similar role within freight forwarding and logistics
-Current forklift licence, high reach experience preferred
-Shipping container loading and unloading experience
-Those residing in SG West area highly welcome.
