Job Responsibilities:

• Managed preparation and submission of main contract progress claims, variation orders, and EOT claims.

• Led drafting, negotiation, and finalization of subcontract agreements and final accounts.

• Resolved contractual and payment disputes with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.

• Oversaw cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control to ensure projects remained within approved budgets.

• Prepared cost comparisons and procurement recommendations for senior management review.

• Monitored project expenditures and maintained accurate financial records.

• Ensured all claims were properly documented and complied with contract terms.

• Prepared detailed financial reports, including cost forecasts and cash flow projections.

• Liaised with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on contractual and financial matters.

• Ensured compliance with Singapore building regulations, contract standards, and company policies.

• Identified and mitigated financial and contractual risks throughout project lifecycle.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.

2. Over 3 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry, including exposure to A1 main contractor projects in Singapore.

3. Strong expertise in construction cost estimation, budgeting, cost control, and procurement management.

4. Proficient in industry-standard quantity surveying software and project cost management tools.

5. Skilled in negotiation, stakeholder communication, and team collaboration.

6. Strong analytical mindset with proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

7. Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of leading teams to meet tight project deadlines.
