Location: Toh Guan Road (Company transport provided)

Working Hours: 8:15am - 5:30pm

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Import Operations Officer to join our Ocean Freight team. In this role, you will be the key liaison between clients, overseas agents, and internal departments, ensuring the smooth handling of sea import shipments from start to finish.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage sea import shipments to meet customer requirements.

• Prepare and verify import documentation including HB/L, MBL, manifest, pre-alerts, and customs declarations.

• Handle TradeNet operations and ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health procedures.

• Communicate effectively with customers, shipping lines, transport teams, trucking partners, and overseas offices.

• Resolve shipment issues such as short-landed, damaged, or discrepant cargo.

• Perform accurate data entry, billing, and cost verification.

• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints professionally.

• Ensure timely collection of charges and proper closing of shipment files.
  

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

• Prior experience in ocean freight import operations is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of shipping documentation and customs procedures.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics systems.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
