Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate communications strategy that aligns with long-term objectives and strategic initiatives.
Lead change communications for operational transformation, framing changes around benefits, efficiency, and enhancements linked to broader strategic goals.
Build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning.
Plan and manage engagement events and programs with various stakeholders within hospital and community settings to enhance institutional outreach.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of events and community activities to refine strategies based on impact and satisfaction metrics.
Collaborate with both internal and external partners to deliver events that reflect institutional excellence and leadership.
Create and execute a strategic marketing and communications plan that supports regional and healthcare sector aspirations.
Lead innovative digital initiatives across channels, enhancing outreach through web, social media, and marketing automation.
Ensure the consistency and impact of communication across all platforms, overseeing brand narrative and editorial standards.
Translate research and clinical outputs into engaging stories that resonate with diverse audiences, promoting academic and scientific achievements.
Utilize data analytics to drive insights and establish metrics for assessing the success of marketing efforts, supporting team growth and effectiveness.
Strengthen internal communications to reinforce institutional values and strategic changes, facilitating opportunities for storytelling and recognition.
Develop comprehensive strategies to achieve fundraising objectives, providing marketing materials and presentations to engage potential donors.
Regularly report on fundraising progress and performance to leadership, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Support various projects and initiatives with effective resource management and coordination, providing regular progress updates.
Adapt to evolving priorities and provide support for cross-team initiatives as necessary.
Requirements
A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in communications, marketing, or strategic engagement roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
A recognized tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, Media, Journalism, Public Relations, or related fields; postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to create engaging narratives suited for diverse audiences and platforms.
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of navigating complex environments effectively.
Experienced public speaker with robust presentation abilities and a commanding executive presence.
Proven ability to drive change while managing ambiguity and balancing multiple priorities strategically.
Effective leader with a proven record of building and developing high-performing teams, both in-person and remotely.
Demonstrated experience in leading collaborative, multidisciplinary teams with a focus on inclusion and continuous learning.
