We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our Training & Competency (T&C) team with a strong focus on policy development, replacement, and governance. The role is responsible for ensuring that T&C policies remain current, compliant with regulatory requirements, and practical for business implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Policy Development & Replacement

  • Lead the drafting, review, and replacement of Training & Competency (T&C) policies, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Ensure alignment with MAS and other regulatory requirements, as well as internal governance standards.

  • Maintain policy documentation, version control, and audit trail for compliance and transparency.

  • Ensure that the sales advisory process guide, sales process documentation, and training materials are up to date.

Policy Governance & Monitoring

  • Monitor the application of T&C policies across business units to ensure consistent adherence.

  • Conduct policy reviews to identify gaps, redundancies, and areas for improvement.

  • Support internal audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance reviews by providing accurate policy references and documentation.

  • Maintain sales advisory process expectations in accordance with regulatory requirements and company needs.

Policy Training

  • Provide training, communication, and guidance to stakeholders on newly revised or replaced policies.

  • Act as the subject-matter contact for queries related to T&C governance and policy interpretation.

  • Applying safeguards, controls and appropriate corrective measures in upholding expected conduct


Requirements

  • Degree with at least 5 years’ experience in training, policy writing within the financial services/insurance background preferred.

  • Strong understanding of MAS regulatory requirements and training/competency frameworks.

  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to simplify complex regulations into clear, actionable policies.

  • Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple policy updates simultaneously.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
