Kleen-Pak is a leading manufacturer and distributor of wet wipes, offering a diverse range of hygiene products to customers worldwide. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Assistant to join our team and support our shipping and customer support operations.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Provide front-line customer service support.
Assist in the processing of purchase orders from customers and the preparation of daily invoices and delivery orders for finished goods from Kleen-Pak Singapore & Kleen-Pak Vietnam for both local delivery and exports.
Assist in the preparation of import/export shipping paperwork based on L/C, Certificate of Origin, Customs/Insurance declaration.
Assist in maintaining shipping records, including providing tracking or shipping history information to customers on request. Ensure all documentations are filed adequately and promptly.
Assist in scheduling and coordinating activities with domestic and international freight forwarders, hauliers, transporters for timely delivery.
Communicate status of shipping/receiving activities to appropriate personnel within the organisation.
Review open customer orders, create pick worksheets to efficiently meet the customer shipping schedule.
Communicate shipping volumes and priorities closely with the Assistant Manager to optimise available resources.
Assist in the follow up with customers on overdue payments.
Coordinate goods returned from customers with internal departments.
Assist in the preparation of reports such as finished goods inventory report.
Ensure compliance with operational, ISO and GMP procedures and standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
At least a diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in shipping or logistics.
Knowledge of import/export procedures, freight forwarding, and international shipping regulations will advantageous.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Responsible, positive attitude and able to work independently.
Knowledge of SAP will be an advantage.
