Manufacturing Engineer - #1120923

Overall responsibilities

• Reporting to Engineering Manager for the overall functions of engineering, manufacturing process development, tooling design, integrated scheduling, design to cost and quotation/sourcing technical support

• Provide technical leadership for manufacturing processes of cables / harnesses, electro-mechanical assemblies, inspection testing and tooling and fixtures design

• Ability to perform electro-mechanical assembly work and provide guidance to production operators / technicians

• Apply knowledge of electrical / electronic equipment production and test methodologies

• Bring assigned projects/programs to successful first articles, completion and profitability

• Gather data and develop engineering / manufacturing solutions and documents which required by customers to support OMS, SOE, MI, drawings and specifications
  
  
  Qualifications Knowledge Skills:

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering and/or professional certification in a related field

  • Candidate must be able to converse & comprehend basic Chinese. (NPI has employees/clients that only understand Mandarin.)

  • Good Microsoft Excel skills in order to compare/study Bill Of Material (BOM)

  • At least 2-5 years of related experience as Assistant Engineer

  • Ability to think out-of-the-box and address technical problems with engineering solutions

  • Effectively manage multiple priorities under extremely tight deadlines
