Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage production schedules to align with customer demands while optimizing efficiency and minimizing downtime.
Lead, train, and motivate a multidisciplinary production team, creating a workplace culture centered around safety and quality.
Ensure product quality by upholding strict engineering standards through rigorous quality control and continuous process monitoring.
Identify process improvement opportunities, applying lean manufacturing principles and methodologies to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Oversee the allocation and maintenance of machinery, tools, and materials necessary for production, ensuring optimal utilization.
Enforce health and safety policies to maintain a safe working environment in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Manage production budgets and monitor costs to implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or delivery timelines.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations and timely product delivery.
Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management in the precision engineering sector.
Demonstrated success in implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement strategies.
Strong knowledge of CNC machining, CAD/CAM software, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with ERP systems and production planning software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with great attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Adaptability to manage multiple priorities and possess a results-driven mindset.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
