Job title – Popscent Technician

Location – Tuas, Singapore

Reporting to the department owner, you will assist in the day-to-day operations of the Popscent Department to ensure all products are manufactured in compliance with the highest safety and quality standards.

Your key responsibilities

• Automated Process: Run the processing reactors based on standard parameters automation control and standard procedure.

• Locate and verify materials to match order and labels, generates product/sample labels, inspects exterior and interior of containers before filling and handling.

• Weigh or measures materials and mixes them in prescribed manner utilizing a variety of compounding equipment for a specified duration.

• Fill and pack finished product and/or intermediates, moves finished product to warehouse for storage or shipping.

• Draws samples for quality control approval.

• Material Replenishment based on SAP quantity requirement.

• Operate forklift and other material moving equipment as required.

• Execute equipment troubleshooting and repairs.

• Compliance with Group Quality Operational Requirements, Group SHE Requirements, Quality Essentials, and Life Saving Rules (LSR).

You bring

• Attained minimum NITEC in Engineering or Technical equivalent.

• 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Prior technical experience in chemical company would be an advantage.

• Must be physically fit for heavy lifting of equipment around 25Kg.

• Effective verbal and written communication.
