Job Description: Accountant

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain accurate records of all financial accounts.

• Prepare and deliver monthly financial and management reports on time.

• Evaluate and project costs, identify variances, and propose appropriate corrective actions.

• Coordinate with external auditors during statutory and interim audits to ensure compliance and timely completion.

• Provide financial analysis and insights on project performance, risks, and cash flow to aid decision-making.

• Review and refine project management and reporting procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Present financial updates and key findings during project and management meetings.

• Compile and submit financial reports and surveys required by government authorities.

• Prepare and review payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Perform any other duties or assignments as instructed from time to time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification.

• At least 4 years of relevant experience, preferably within project-based or construction accounting.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

• Proven ability to work well under pressure while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Highly organized, attentive to detail, and skilled in analytical and numerical problem-solving.
