Senior Purchase Executive - #1120630

Job Description

• Perform full spectrum of procurement activities.

• Assist in process of procurement, generate, validate and maintain change of Purchase Order System according to project needs.

• Reviewing and comparing, analysing, and approving products and services to be purchased.

• Source and on-board potential suppliers where required and to follow correct procedures and documentation when engaging suppliers.

• Ensure that all assigned supplier contracts are up to date and all records are saved appropriately.

• Source and negotiate with local and overseas suppliers for machinery spare parts and materials.

• Manage daily email communications promptly and professionally.

• Liaise with overseas suppliers/clients on purchase-related matters and monitor shipment status.

• Prepare and issue tax invoices, quotations, and purchase orders.

• Issue of PO and update in purchasing system.

• Oversees stock control and support project materials delivery requirements.

• Maintain good working relationships with new and existing key suppliers to manage delivery and product quality.

• Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials from both local and overseas vendors.

• In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules.

• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.
   

Job Requirements

• Relevant experience in purchasing, particularly in machinery parts or related fields.

• Fast learner, responsible & well-organised with good interpersonal skills.

• Able to multitask and meet deadlines effectively.

• Proactive and adaptable with a positive work attitude.

• Proficient in both English and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking suppliers).

• Knowledge in sourcing for spare parts would be an added advantage.

• Proficiency in purchasing or Microsoft Dynamics software is a plus.
