Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify Company Needs
Determine what products or services the company requires (e.g., raw materials, equipment, office supplies, or maintenance services).
Collaborate with various departments to understand operational and project-based requirements.
Plan procurement schedules according to business priorities and budget.
2. Source and Evaluate Suppliers
Research, identify, and assess potential vendors or service providers.
Request and review quotations, proposals, and samples.
Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and service.
Maintain an approved vendor list and supplier performance records.
3. Negotiate and Create Contracts
Negotiate terms and conditions, pricing, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Draft, review, and manage purchase agreements and contracts to protect company interests.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legal requirements.
4. Purchase Goods or Services
Issue purchase orders and ensure order accuracy.
Monitor delivery timelines, confirm receipt of goods/services, and verify quality standards.
Resolve issues related to delays, defects, or discrepancies in orders.
Maintain accurate procurement documentation and records.
Requirements:
Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Team-oriented and proactive.
Strong ethical standards and integrity in handling supplier relations.
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
