Join MEOD Pte Ltd, a growing urban farming company, and help bring fresh, locally grown produce from our Kranji farm to kitchens and markets across Singapore. As a Sales Executive, you’ll drive growth through customer engagement, relationship building, and sales development across B2B and wet market channels — a dynamic, hands-on role where your energy and passion for great food truly make an impact.
Location: Singapore (MEOD Farm, Neo Tiew, Kranji + field sales)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Work Schedule:
Workdays: 5.5 days' work week (Alternate Saturday)
Work Hours: 8.30am - 6:00pm - Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP
Work Pass Eligibility: Singaporean or Malaysian
Your Focus Areas:
Primary Focus – B2B Sales: Engage FMCG distributors, hotels, restaurants, and F&B chains to expand MEOD’s presence in the commercial food sector.
Significant Focus – Wet Market Channel: Build strong ties with mom-and-pop stores, traditional retailers, and market stall owners — the heart of Singapore’s local food network.
Supporting Role – Account Management: Maintain long-term customer relationships, ensure satisfaction, and drive repeat business through upselling and cross-selling.
Key Responsibilities
Find and Win New Customers
Research and approach potential customers (B2B or wet market)
Present MEOD’s products and value proposition
Update CRM with customer data, notes, and follow-ups while following up on all leads within 48 hours
Manage Customer Relationships
Respond to customer inquiries same day and conduct monthly check-ins with active customers
Resolve delivery or quality issues promptly with Operations and recommend additional products when appropriate
Flag payment delays to management
Hit Sales Targets
Work with manager on monthly targets and pricing
Issue quotations, confirm orders, and track fulfilment
Provide weekly updates on progress and forecasts proactively to meet targets
Learn Products and Market
Attend farm visits and product trainings quarterly and represent MEOD professionally at all meetings
Match customer needs to appropriate products
Share market and competitor feedback regularly
Candidate Requirements
Education: Secondary or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
Experience: 2–3 years as a Sales Executive, with proven results in sales and marketing
Industry Background: FMCG distributors, hotels, restaurants, or F&B chains; knowledge of the local vegetable / F&B / FMCG market preferred
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Soft Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Languages: English (mandatory); multilingual ability is an advantage
Leadership / Independence: Able to work both independently and collaboratively
Work Style: Performs well in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
