Job Title: Quality Assurance Officer
Reports To: Quality Assurance Manager
Primary Objective:
To perform Validation activity on supporting evidence/ information supplied on client records to enable the processing of the outcome payments by the finance team. Through pre-determined process / checklists either approve claims as compliant submissions or reject back to operations with succinct detail of remedial action requirements to progress to claim. Overall responsibility for the accuracy and timely processing of submitted outcome events within the required performance deadlines. Conduct client records checks in line with pre - determined working papers and support the production of reports outlining current program health weighting and clear remedial action requirements or recommendations to changes/ implementation of controls. To act as first point of contact for the operational leads with regards to quality enquiries and support facilitation of internal and external audits.
Responsibilities:
· Perform validation activity on programme outcomes to determine if evidence supplied supports payment claim from our customer (government), issuing remedial action guidance, and monitoring corrective action completion when necessary.
· Audit client files to determine the level of compliance and overall programme health indicators and to produce initial audit findings report for presentation to the Quality Assurance Manager for cascade to the wider business.
· Robust working knowledge and interpretation of Government Minimum Standards to act as subject matter expert for issuing guidance.
· Support in trend analysis and action plan creation to mitigate risk and suggest process improvement to enable compliant by design approach
· Report highlighted knowledge gaps in operational delivery areas that present a risk to the Quality Assurance Manager for review and action.
· Produce management reports linked to quality in line with business requirements and schedule.
· To oversee contractual requirements set down by our customer are performed by the Ops Admin Team on a timely and accurate manner.
· Support creation / amendment of quality guidance, manuals and other delivery resource tools for compliance in programme minimum standards and AKG set standards.
Person Specification
Key Skills/Experience
· Tertiary education with audit and compliance experience
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages and intermediate or Advance Excel (Essential)
· Experience in generating management reports for trend analysis and reporting purpose
· Experience dealing with government bodies will be preferred but not compulsory
· Strong project management skills and prioritize tasks
· Self-Motivated and able to work from own initiative with minimal supervision
· Strong eye for detail – able to identify anomalies
· Efficient working practices – speedy, accurate input
· Anticipates and identifies problems / weakness and propose solutions to improve the program
· Ability to provide guidance using varied channels including group delivery and live online delivery
· Demonstrates a willingness to help and support other members of staff within the team
· Flexible Attitude to work
