Our client, a trusted name in the electrical contracting and supply industry, known for delivering high-quality electrical solutions to commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. They are expanding our presence and seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to help drive our growth and build long-lasting partnerships within the industry.
Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets
Develop and maintain strong relationships with Consultants, Main Contractors, and Electrical Contractors
Build and manage a pipeline of qualified leads and convert them into new business
Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs
Represent Cantal Electric at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions and proposals
Meet and exceed sales targets and growth objectives
Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management
Requirements:
3 to 8 years of experience in a business development or sales role, preferably in a hunter capacity
Prior experience in the electrical, mechanical, construction, or related industries is highly preferred
A strong professional network within the consultant and contractor ecosystem
Proven track record of generating leads and closing deals
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated, target-driven, and eager to advance professionally
Background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is a plus, but not mandatory
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
