Responsibilities: -
Manage and oversee all stages of "white glove" deliveries, including the careful loading, transportation, unloading, and precise placement of sensitive IT equipment (e.g., servers, racks, and networking gear).
Lead, guide, and motivate a team of white glove technicians and assistants, promoting a strong culture of accountability, professionalism, and safety.
Plan and organize daily schedules and task assignments for the team, ensuring resources are allocated effectively for each project.
Conduct pre-delivery briefings and on-site risk assessments to identify potential issues and confirm that all necessary equipment and protocols are ready.
Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), safe lifting techniques, and clean-room procedures.
Maintain full compliance with the data center’s safety and access protocols at all times.
Act as the primary on-site point of contact, overseeing the entire process and resolving any operational challenges in real-time.
Serve as the main communication link with the "Control Tower" or central operations team, providing regular updates on project status, delays, and milestones.
Coordinate with data center operators and client representatives, ensuring smooth transitions and compliance with all facility rules and regulations.
Take proactive steps to manage project timelines, ensuring timely delivery and completion while minimizing the risk of service-level agreement (SLA) breaches.
Requirements: -
Min 2 years experience in logistics, data center operations, or a similar high-stakes operational environment.
At least 2 years of proven experience in a team leader or supervisory role.
Experience in a "white glove" or precision logistics setting, with a strong understanding of handling high-value IT equipment.
Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
Good mix of business and systems knowledge
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
