You will play a critical role in :
R&D
New Product Development
- Lead the formulation of new crop from conceptualization to commercialization :
Seed Trial
* Conduct new seed variety trials
Nutrient Formulation (fertilizer, bio-stimulant)
* Develop and test new nutrient formulation to optimize macro & micro-nutrient blend and improve plant growth
Climate (adaptation, environment stress research)
* Develop protocols for climate-smart agriculture solutions
- Manage trials and ensure product safety through field experiment and greenhouse validation
- Ensure alignment with market trends and consumer needs
Process Development & Optimization
- Constantly review nursery, transplanting, harvesting, ready-to-eat processes
- Modify methods to improve quality, consistency and efficiency
- Scale up recipe from data analysis to pilot plant to full production
Raw Material Research
- Investigate new ingredients and technologies to enhance shelf life, quality and sustainability
Cross Departmental Collaboration
- Work with production, procurement, sales & marketing to align food specs and go-to-market plans
- Support production during product scale-up and initial runs
Project Management
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously within timeline
- Document progress including trial notes, observations, specifications, test results
- Present findings and proposals to management
QA
Handling, Storage & Packaging
- Oversee routine inspections :
* including color, size, shape, smell, texture, moisture, freshness
* ensuring crops are stored in correct temperature and humidity to prevent spoilage
- Verify packing materials are of food-grade and clean
- Work with teams to prepare labeling, food content information, and documentation
- Accreditation, Certification Documentation Control & Planning
Document control procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance

- Review and update technical documents such as manuals and workflows
- Maintain records in accordance with ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, and HACCP standards
- Internal and external audits for certifications including SFA, HACCP, and GAP4
The ideal fit would have :
- Degree in Food Science / Agriculture / Aquaculture / Forestry or equivalent
- Familiar with food safety and regulatory standards
- Strong experimental and organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines
- Must be willing to work under non-aircon environment at work intervals, and does not mind dirty the hands
- Solid interest working in the Agriculture industry
- Curiosity, creativity, and confidence to take on new challenges
- Ready to grow fast, work hard, and make a mark
