Shipping Executive - #1119791

Responsibilities:

• Handle export/import shipments

• Prepare and maintain shipping documents accuracy, including bills of lading, airway bills, customs documentation and shipping invoices verification

• Liaise with forwarder/carrier for freight rates, shipping schedules and bookings

• Liaise with 3PL warehouse for picking and packing arrangement

• Provide supports to the sales department e.g. provide monthly freight rates and container estimation

• Apply Marine insurance coverage, Certificate of origin (COO, Form D, AANZ and etc) and/or SGS inspection

• Handle replacement for damaged cargoes if necessary

• Arrange surveyor for inspection on the damage cargoes and prepare insurance claim for the damaged cargoes

• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company policies

• Assist in the review of work processes and internal controls to improve workflow and cost efficiency

• Assist in the customs compliance query includes updated information on local/ international law, regulations, practices, tariffs, duties, licenses, and restrictions.

• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management

• SAP knowledge is an advantage

• Knowledge of customs compliance

• Above 3 years of relevant experience in Shipping industry is preferred

• Good spoken and written communication in English and Mandarin (Required to communicate effectively with Chinese suppliers)

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
