About the Role
We believe that great educational content can unlock understanding and inspire achievement. As a Chinese Language Editor, you will play a key role in developing, refining, and ensuring the quality of educational materials that align with the curriculum framework. You will take ownership of the editorial process from content creation to publication, ensuring that all materials meet academic and design standards.
What you’ll be doing
Content Development and Editing: Create and refine educational materials to ensure they align with the curriculum framework.
Quality Control: Oversee content editing and copyediting to maintain high standards.
Error Review: Examine content for grammatical, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors to ensure accuracy and clarity.
Publication Management: Coordinate the timely publication of a list of Chinese titles, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Scheduling and Problem Solving: Plan and manage schedules effectively to tackle issues promptly and maintain publication timelines.
Budget Management: Oversee project budgets to ensure financial efficiency.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the project team to achieve defined goals and outcomes.
Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate and coordinate with external stakeholders, including authors, freelancers, and customers, to facilitate project success.
Who we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Chinese Language or related subject.
Effectively bilingual in Chinese and English, as manuscripts are written in Chinese.
Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to manage strong personalities.
Meticulous and deadline-oriented; able to work under pressure.
Min 0 to 2 years’ editorial experience; teaching experience is a plus.
