Service Engineer (Singaporeans only!/Marine Hydraulics/Marine Shipyards) - #1119131

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior/ Service & Commissioning Engineer on site.

• Provide technical expertise and carryout service order assignments from the Service & Commissioning Manager/ Service & Commissioning Coordinator

• Field representative of the company to evaluate, troubleshoot, analyze, repair, test, and return equipment to service as required or instructed by a service order in a safe and effective manner. 

• Create daily reports about the performed service tasks and all related issues and send them to the Service Mailbox

• Complete all the required documentation & write reports regarding the work

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Technical Bachelor’s degree (electrical / electronic / computer science is preferred) or similar working and thinking level because of experience.

• A broad technical interest in electrical, hydraulic (propulsion technology) or Control Technology PLCs and inverters; and basic mechanical engineering fundamentals

• Analytical and systematic approach to problem solving

• Basic understanding of programming and industrial control systems is a plus

• Willing to travel abroad heavily
