Roles & Responsibilities
To perform interventional procedures of diagnostic quality with due regard to patient care, clinical responsibility, radiation protection and effective use of technology.
Duties and Responsibilities
Be clinically competent in performing interventional procedures.
Perform and assist interventionist in all interventional examinations on patients with clinically accepted standards described in the SOP, with due regards to radiation safety, patient care and clinical requirement.
Able to provide interventional service by performing rotating shift as well as on-call for emergency cases.
Able to perform general radiography on rotating shift.
Perform regular quality assurance checks and control of all angiography machines to ensure optimal performance.
Practice radiation safety protection protocols with regards to patients, staff and the public.
Practical teaching and supervise of junior radiographers.
Oversee student radiographers and provide guidance on radiography projects.
Assists in data collection.
Ability to work as a team player and communicate effectively with others.
Job Requirements
Recognized Degree in Diagnostic Radiography
Full registration(F-Reg) with Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
