Freight Supervisor (Freight Forwarding) - #1119035

Location: Changi Airfreight Centre

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Freight Supervisor to oversee day-to-day freight forwarding operations.
You’ll supervise a small team, ensure shipments are delivered on time, maintain compliance with trade regulations, and support smooth coordination between clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Please note: This role may require shift work and weekend WFH duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily import, export, and transshipment operations

• Mentor and manage a small team of freight staff

• Coordinate with internal teams: sales, finance, and warehouse

• Handle client and vendor communications; resolve service issues

• Negotiate freight rates and agreements with logistics partners

• Ensure accurate shipment documentation and compliance with regulations

• Monitor operational KPIs and suggest process improvements

Requirements

• 3–5 years’ experience in freight forwarding or logistics

• Experience supervising a small team

• Knowledge of air/sea freight procedures and customs regulations

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills

• Flexible to work shifts and occasional weekend WFH

• Bonus: Certified Customs Declarant or Dangerous Goods certification
