Associate, SUTD Academy (Temporary)

 We are looking for a 6-months temporary staff to join SUTD Academy.

This position will report to Manager, SUTD Academy, and assist in general administrative work including the following areas, e.g. finance, procurement and reporting. 

Job Scope

1. Reconciliations of grant receivable entries in SAP to manual grant claim records by General Ledger (GL) line items in SAP

2. Reconciliations of various subsidy receivable entries in SAP to manual subsidy claim records by GL line items in SAP

3. Reporting

• Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual enrolment reports to grantor

• Assist in preparation of half-yearly management reports

1. Assist with processing of vendor invoices and faculty timesheets for payment:

• Process supplier’s invoices, ensure correct cost allocation and assignment codes before submitting to Finance department for payment processing

• Check timesheets and payments to Speakers/Faculty

• Assist in filing withholding taxes for Overseas Speakers/Faculty, if any

  5. Procurement:

• Liaise with respective colleagues to assist in raising Purchase Orders for purchasing requirements

  6. General Admin

• Co-ordinate meetings, send meeting invites, set up meeting rooms etc as and when required

• Assist to update Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) if necessary

  
  

Requirements

·     Diploma holder or above with at least 5 years of relevant working experience

·     Good knowledge of accounting and finance-related work

·     Resourceful, meticulous, organised and independent in delivering good quality work

·     Confident and comfortable with handing data and figures

·     Strong team player

·     Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

·     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
