URGENT!! Head of Internal Audit (Japanese MNC) - JSOX / Regional experience - #1118756

• Japanese MNC / Permanent Role

• Great Remuneration Package (AWS + VB)

• Experience in SOX / J-SOX is required

• Leading experience is required

• Required to travel to oversea when needed

Responsibilities:

a) Internal Audit

• Prepare annual audit plans.

• Implement internal audits according to the annual audit plan approved by the Department Manager.

• Develop and prepare individual audit work programs and audit objectives.

• Implement audit fieldwork (interview, physical inspection, etc.).

• Prepare audit working papers, identify audit findings, and provide recommendations for improvement.

• Prepare internal audit reports.

• Conduct post-audit activities, including follow-up work and continuous monitoring.

b) Evaluation of J-SOX (Internal Control over Financial Reporting)

• Conduct J-SOX Company-Level Controls (CLC) evaluations of all Asian subsidiaries.

• Conduct J-SOX Process-Level Controls (PLC) evaluations of in-scope Asian subsidiaries designated as significant business locations.

• Liaise with external auditors in order to execute J-SOX evaluations and accomplish necessary follow-up activities.

c) Others

• Perform risk assessment conductive to risk-based internal audits of Asian subsidiaries.

• Conduct advisory work or investigation work approved by the Department Manager.

• Improve the quality of internal audit activities.

• Report the status of the above-mentioned work to the Japan HQ.

• Participate in meetings (regularly and irregularly) and global joint audits.

• Build and maintain close relationships and communication with managing directors and relevant contact persons of Asian subsidiaries.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above

• Holder of relevant professional certifications, e.g. CIA, CPA, ACCA, CISA

• At least 10 years of internal and external audit experience

• Experience in Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) and Japanese-SOX (J-SOX) compliance

• Experience in financial accounting, legal, and compliance

• Experience in data analytics and fraud investigations
