We are seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Industrial Engineering & Planning Engineer to support fab operations through effective capacity planning, equipment utilization, and material management. This role will lead productivity improvement initiatives, manage indirect material requirements, and drive capital planning and fab layout optimization to ensure alignment with overall manufacturing and operational goals.
Job Descriptions:
Develop and maintain the fab-wide plant capacity model, ensuring alignment with customer wafer demand and tool input requirements.
Identify equipment bottlenecks and lead productivity improvement programs.
Partner with process modules to ensure equipment readiness ahead of production needs to meet customer required dates.
Calculate and monitor equipment capacity utilization across all fab modules.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to track and improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
Calculate the intrinsic cycle time of the fab (ideal processing time without queueing).
Work with manufacturing and process engineering teams to reduce cycle time and improve throughput.
Identify space for new equipment and coordinate with facilities and equipment teams for tool installation
Create and update AutoCAD tool layouts, ensuring all tools and utilities are properly marked and documented.
Support Greenfield site setup and fab expansion projects
Perform as Project IE during fab construction and ramp-up phases
Work with HR and operations teams to manage seating arrangements for staff across SP2 and external office spaces.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in industrial system & engineering, Engineering, or related field.
A minimum of 3 years of working experience in the field of Industrial Engineering in a Semiconductor Wafer Fab is preferred.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply and will be considered for entry-level roles.
Proficiency in capacity modeling, AutoCAD, and familiarity with lean manufacturing tools.
Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and ability to work cross-functionally.
