Logistics Operations Supervisor (Manager) - JD2123 - #1118032

Job Info:

• Salary: Basic up to $6200 + AWS + Performance Bonus

• Working Hours: Monday - Friday (Office Hours)

• Location: Tuas

Job Scope:

• Ensure contractors comply with waste collection requirements (PPE, documentation) and follow up on collection progress

• Handle customer queries and coordinate with Sales and Customer Service on complaints or issues

• Ensure compliance with authorities’ requirements (NEA, LTA, etc.) related to waste collection

• Develop KPIs to evaluate contractor and supplier performance

• Attend plant-level coordination meetings (EHS, Operations, Sales, etc.)

• Provide backup for logistics executive on transport scheduling and administrative tasks

• Plan logistics transport capacity, including pumps, hoses, and trucks

• Oversee maintenance programs for all logistics equipment, either internally or via contractors

• Handle submissions for transportation containment approvals (e.g., rental ISO tanks, post-office waste)

• Verify supplier/contractor invoices and follow up on discrepancies; consolidate monthly transport and labor costs

• Ensure all vehicle parking certificates are renewed annually and comply with LTA regulations

• Manage logistics staff, including hiring, performance evaluations, and training coordination

• Report monthly on cost reduction measures, operational bottlenecks, and solutions to the Logistics Director

• Update and maintain logistics transport records and monthly reports (costs, budgets, expenses)

Requirements:

• Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management

• 2-3 years of experience in similar role and industry

• Excellent planning and tactical conceptualization abilities in operational problem-solving

• Good knowledge of operations and safety

• Able to manage cross-functional teams and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
