Junior Design Consultant - #1117923

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Design Consultant to support our lead designers and project managers in delivering creative, functional, and high-quality interior spaces. This role involves active participation in concept development, space planning, material selection, and technical drawings, while supporting project execution from design to completion.

You’ll assist in managing design tasks independently while working closely with the team to meet client expectations and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the lead designer/project-in-charge in design development and coordination

• Prepare mood boards, space planning layouts, 2D drawings, and presentation decks

• Assist in material, finishes, and color selection based on project direction

• Produce and revise AutoCAD drawings, elevations, and technical details

• Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors for material sourcing and site queries

• Participate in client meetings and site visits when needed

• Ensure design intent is maintained through to execution and handover

• Support documentation and drawing submission schedules

• Keep updated with design trends, materials, and product knowledge

Requirements

• Diploma in Interior Design or equivalent

• 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred (fresh grads with internship experience welcome)

• Proficient in AutoCAD, PowerPoint, SketchUp and Photoshop

• Solid understanding of space planning, design details, and renovation processes

• Strong sense of design, color coordination, and materials

• Positive attitude, willing to learn, and a good team player

• Able to manage time effectively and work on multiple projects concurrently

• Good communication skills and confidence in sharing ideas
