Our client is seeking a Embedded Software Engineer (Motion Control Systems) to join their team!

With their R&D center based in Singapore, they focus on developing innovative products and solutions for high-precision applications. Their product range includes advanced Die Bonders, Flip Chip Bonders, and Package-on-Package Bonders, which significantly enhance their customers' operational efficiency.

What you'll be doing?

• Architect firmware solutions: Design and develop embedded firmware for motion control systems, focusing on optimal performance and precision.

• Implement advanced systems: Create end-to-end applications including multi-threading, scheduling optimization, RTOS, and bare-metal implementations.

• Develop custom solutions: Design kernel drivers and APIs tailored for motion control applications and sensor/actuator interfaces.

• Drive innovation: Contribute to system architecture development and implement new features for motion control advancements.

• Ensure quality: Design, develop, and thoroughly test firmware for embedded motion control systems.

• Stay ahead of the curve: Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies in motion control to enhance product development.

• Troubleshoot effectively: Undertake debugging, system bring-up, beta testing, and production software development tasks.

Who are they looking for?

• C/C++ expertise: Proficiency in software design and programming for development, debugging, testing, and performance analysis.

• Hardware understanding: Familiarity with hardware functionalities including clock-level issues, interrupts, and polling.

• Relevant experience: A minimum of 5 years in embedded software development, with candidates having more experience considered for senior roles.

• Educational background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Motion control knowledge: Experience with motion controller systems, such as PID control loops, servo control algorithms, and sensor/actuator interfacing.

• Working Day: Mon to Fri

• Location: Woodlands North Coast

• Salary: $4500 - $6000
