Buyer / Purchasing Officer (Construction Equipment) - #1117759

Responsibilities: 

• Source and evaluate suppliers for construction equipment, spare parts, and related materials 

• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms to achieve cost savings and value for money

• Prepare and issue purchase orders in line with project and operational requirements 

• Coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery

• Monitor supplier performance, build strong vendor relationships, and maintain an approved supplier list

• Track inventory levels and support warehouse team on stock replenishment 

• Review technical specifications and ensure parts purchased meet quality and safety standards

• Assist in resolving supply issues, discrepancies, and delays with vendors

• Maintain procurement records, reports, and compliance with audit and company policies

• Support procurement team and participate in cost-reduction initiatives and process improvements 

Requirements: 

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering or any related field(s) but not necessary

• Minimum 2 to 4 years of procurement experience, preferably in construction equipment, heavy machinery, or spare parts

• Familiarity with procurement systems and Microsoft Office 365 is an advantage
