Key Responsibilities

• Be proficient in the use of all machine tools and to carry out the basic repair and maintenance of machines and associated tooling.

• To machine parts as per specifications on drawings or as instructed by the Supervisor.

• To work in orderly fashion keeping benches, work areas and machines tidy and cleaning up each area after use.

• Fill in job routing card on every job assigned to operator.

• Willing to carry out adhoc duties on other areas of production as instructed per supervisor should the need arise.

Requirements

• Relevant skills certificate

• Knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, and fixture setup

• Able to work as a team

• Deadline driven with the ability to work under pressure
