Objectives of the position:

The Purchasing Planning Executive must be a data-driven, strong analytical skills and creative team player who can provide critical solution effectively in order to fulfil high levels of customer satisfaction in current dynamic supply chain network. As one of the key player in APAC Control Tower Purchasing Planning team, the individual will be expected to implement the demand planning strategies for accurate forecast and inventory optimization to achieve the goals of department and group.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management - Plan and update the appropriate system parameters promptly according to monthly consumption, optimize stock level to meet inventory objectives.
2. Order Management - Facilitate Purchase Orders and ensure the information update in SAP. Follows up on orders ensuring that materials are shipped and delivered on promised dates.
3. Coordinates on all aspects with stakeholders on inbound shipment, update in SAP promptly and accurately, filing shipping documents for goods receiving activities, verifications of invoices to avoid mis-match
4. Cross trade shipment management - Facilitate and coordinate with stakeholder for direct drop shipment from factory to customer, with application and compliance of Free Trade Agreement for customer import duty rebates
5. Claim Management - Process claims where defects are related to the Vendor
6. Material Master Management - To maintain and ensure Material Master in SAP up to date (Standard length, HS code, plan delivery time...)
7. Ensure the operation quality and efficiency to meet customer requirements while complying with the company policies
8. Any other ad-hoc duty or projects as assigned by Manager

Skills & Qualification:

• Minimum Certificate in Supply Chain/Purchasing/Materials/Logistics management
• More than 2 years’ experience in supply chain operations
• Knowledge of SAP system preferred
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly in MS Excel or Excel Advance applications
• Able to converse/write English competently
• Creative problem-solving skills, data-driven analytical and reasoning skills
• Experience managing 3PL partners


Working hours: Mon to Fri 8.30am - 5.30pm
