Job Description

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide professional technical support to the developed software program and other activities arising from operational requirements.

• Work closely with helpdesk frontliners to identify, troubleshoot and provide solutions for issues reported.

• Work with the team to ensure that the system meets operational expectations, quality standards and within schedule.

• To accommodate customer’s operational needs, there will sometimes be work outside of regular business hours, such as nights or weekends.

• Assist the team with documentation and reporting requirements as required by the project.

• Perform after office hour system deployment and able to be on 24 x 7 standby

Role Requirements:

• Possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

• Preferably 1-2 years of hands-on working experience in environments with Linux/RHEL, SQL, Cloud/AWS carrying out operations activities.

• Strong communication skills, able to transmit information in a clear and unambiguous way.

• Problem-solving skills with out of the box thinking.

• A team-player who can take initiative.

• Have the skills and resilience to handle situations and deliver results on time.

• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

• Ability to follow-through with Standard Operating Procedures.

• Experience in working with Government projects would be a plus.

• Ability to train other team members to ensure good transfer of knowledge and expertise is a plus.

Technical Requirements:

• Proficiency in Linux or RHEL

• AWS Associate Architect Certification (Training can be provided)

• Basic experience with Git.

• Basic hands-on experience working with relational database.

• Basic hands-on experience writing scripts using scripting languages such as bash or shell script.

• Familiarity with Cloud technologies. AWS experience and/or Microsoft Azure is a plus

• Experience in CI/CD deployment tools will be a plus

• Experience with GCC (Government on Commercial Cloud) would be a plus.

• Basic hands-on experience with AWS CLI is a plus

• Experience with the usage of Jira and Confluence would be a plus.

• Basic experience with Infrastructure As Code (IAC) such as Terraform and Ansible would be a plus.
