Assistant Manager, Community Engagement and Planning

Location: Northwest

Contract: 3+3 months

Workdays: 5 days across - Mon–Sun

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual passionate about the environment, who enjoys engaging with the community to plan and execute outreach programmes focused on environmental and sustainability initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

• Engage 3P partners (public, private, and people sectors) to promote pro-environmental values and mobilise community actions.

• Plan and support community events, including educational booths, online talks, quizzes, and games, often held on weekends.

• Train and manage partners’ volunteers for localised outreach events such as recycling drives and dengue prevention house visits.

• Facilitate and respond to residents’ enquiries and feedback, ensuring cases are logged and addressed promptly.

Requirements:

• Degree in any field.

• Able to work flexible hours, including weekday nights, weekends, and public holidays as needed.

• Willing to travel across the North West district.

• Physical stamina for door-to-door house visits and standing during events.

• Strong aptitude for public engagement and community work.

• Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
