Job Description
Training & Supervision of Trainees
Conduct daily contract work activities in collaboration with partners.
Guide trainees in social skills, soft skills, and work ethics.
Implement behaviour management strategies and encourage positive work habits.
Conduct daily exercises and cleaning routines to maintain structure and discipline.
Ensure that work tasks are broken down into simple, step-by-step instructions suitable for trainees' cognitive levels.
Operations & Class Management
Supervise and ensure that trainees meet work expectations and deadlines.
Maintain a safe and structured environment that encourages participation.
Adapt tasks according to trainees' abilities to maximize engagement and productivity.
Conduct SWP assessments twice a year (March & September) and track trainee progress.
Stakeholder & Partner Engagement
Work closely with partners to coordinate work orders, expectations, and deliverables.
Communicate trainee progress to parents, caregivers, social workers, and APSN’s vocational training team.
Collaborate with APSN’s Allied Professionals (AP) team to support trainees’ behavioural and skill development needs.
Administrative Responsibilities
Maintain accurate attendance records, progress reports, and work logs.
Submit work completion reports to APSN’s vocational training team.
Ensure proper documentation of work tasks and trainee progress.
Job Requirements
Higher NITEC/ Diploma/ Degree in any discipline
Possess 2 years of working experience as a Chef/Cook.
Possess good communication skills
Able to interact well with people with special needs and their caregivers
