Our Company, in the Production Industry located in Tai Seng has openings for R&D Assistant Project Manager.

To assist in all aspects of dyeing and finishing crocodile leather, from developing and testing new recipes to troubleshooting production issues, with the goal of achieving a high-quality end product that meets industry standards. This involves working with various processes, techniques, and materials, as well as participating in daily production and development activities.

Responsibilty

• Assist in dyeing and finishing methods, including fat liquoring, re-tanning, dyeing and chrome- and metal-free processes and techniques; and finishing techniques; treating crocodile leather from different species.

• Assist in ensuring a high-quality end-product from Crust to Finish, according to the highest industry standards and specific properties.

• Assist to develop, improve and test new recipes.

• Assist to develop new articles.

• Assist to monitor production batches for recipe and process fine tuning.

• Troubleshoot production issues, propose and implement action plan.

• Plan and monitor development activities for both production orders and R&D projects.

• Analyse data and create reports pertaining R&D projects and production topics.

• Use the R&D tracker to constantly update, track and archive recipes and samples.

• Involved in daily production and development operations.

Requirement

• Minimum 5 years experience in a Tannery

• Technical experience is essential

• Knowledge of hazardous substances is essential

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Creative

• Able to work in a high pressure environment with the ability to achieving objectives with tight deadlines
