Senior Project Engineer | Office hours - #1115695

Adecco is partnering with a world leader in gases, technologies and services for industry and healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily project activities, ensuring coordination with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Monitor and track project progress, resolving issues to maintain schedule adherence.
• Develop project schedules by analyzing plans, specifications, and timelines.
• Provide guidance for creating installation and detailed mechanical drawings, including piping layouts and isometrics.
• Review and manage project plans, specifications, and schedule changes, recommending actions as needed.
• Verify safety documents and issue work permits in collaboration with site safety officers.
• Support tender preparation, procurement specifications, and bill of quantities.
• Attend project meetings and provide status updates.
• Prepare regular project status reports with actionable insights.
• Manage vendors and suppliers during equipment commissioning and testing.
• Ensure site safety and cleanliness by enforcing rules and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Assist in preparing project budgets, Capex, and cost allocation.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and maintain safety records.
• Source and procure equipment and materials.
• Collaborate with drafters to produce piping and installation drawings.
• Work independently with minimal supervision; available for extended or weekend work when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or equivalent engineering education.

Experience:

• More than 5 yrs experience working on site installation coordination and project supervision.
• Experience working at process/equipment construction site, plant installation, EPC, or equivalent.
• With experience in giving inputs in technical design and technical document preparation.
• With experience in piping installation, Equipment installation, pipe routing.

Skills:

• Ability to read, understand & demonstrate the P&ID and PFD drawings to site work.
• Proficient to read and understand engineering plan drawings like piping and pipe support plan, equipment layout mechanical installation plan.
• Able to understand Fire Fighting and Alarm systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft office application and Microsoft project or equivalent and familiar with Google doc
• Familiar with Singapore and international codes /Regulations related piping, construction

Job Details:

• Working hours: Mon - Fri, 8:30am - 6:00pm
• Working onsite at Woodlands/ Bendemeer/ required to travel to client's site at times.
