Mechanical Design Engineer - #1115296

Role

We have an opportunity within the Engineering Department for a Mechanical Design Engineer to deliver manufacturing designs for both current and future projects. Candidates with no experience (but with Mechanical Engineering knowledge) are also welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Produce SolidWorks design and drawings for catalog parts as well as custom parts

• Be part of the full product life cycle from initial concept to full production

• Produce 2D and 3D drawings

• Evaluation of design solutions and carry out full engineering testing

• Support production in the manufacturing, assembly and fabrication of FA and final products

• Carry out Engineering presentations to clients where necessary

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Candidate must possess at minimum a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Material Science), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or equivalent.

• Required Skill(s): SolidWorks, AutoCad, Mazatrol (preferred)

• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.

• Project management skills.

• Numerate & literate.

• IT literate and have good organization skills.

• Competent in Excel.
