Job Description:
Regulatory Reporting & Compliance
Lead the preparation and timely submission of quarterly and annual returns to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), ensuring full compliance with evolving insurance regulations and contributing to the company’s regulatory readiness.
Financial & Management Reporting
Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports, supporting strategic decision-making and performance monitoring across business portfolios.
Tax Reporting & Coordination
Manage tax reporting and submissions in coordination with tax agent, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with corporate tax strategies.
Credit Rating Support
Assist in the Company’s credit rating review process by providing financial insights and supporting documentation, contributing to the maintenance of a strong financial reputation in the insurance market.
Group Reporting & Head Office Engagement
Prepare and submit financial schedules and management accounts to Head Office, ensuring consistency, transparency, and alignment with group-level reporting standards.
Corporate Disclosure & Investor Communications
Support the preparation of quarterly announcements and annual reports, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and strategic alignment with stakeholder expectations and regulatory disclosure requirements.
Month-End Closing & System Operations
Prepare journal entries and manage month-end closing activities within the SUNGL system, ensuring data integrity and timely financial closure.
SFRS(I) 17 – Financial Reporting
Prepare data input files for the Tagetik system in support of SFRS(I) 17 compliance, contributing to the transformation of financial reporting under the new insurance accounting standard.
Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)
Support Assist in the preparation and tracking of monthly, quarterly, and annual ERM metrics, supporting the company’s risk governance framework and strategic risk oversight.
Finance Transformation & Innovation
Contribute to finance transformation initiatives, including process automation, system enhancements, and digital reporting capabilities, driving operational efficiency and future-readiness.
Strategic Collaboration & Ad Hoc Initiatives
Undertake special assignments and directives from the Head of Division, supporting cross-functional initiatives and contributing to the company’s broader strategic and financial objectives.
Requirements:
Recognised Degree in Business, Accounting or related discipline
More than 5 years of experience in Financial Reporting in insurance industry.
Proficient in SFRS(I) 17 Tagetik system.
Experienced in process streamlining.
