We are looking for a Specification Assistant Manager to join the Saint-Gobain Singapore team. This role requires technical knowledge, business acumen, and stakeholder engagement to ensure Saint-Gobain’s solutions are consistently positioned as the preferred choice in premium and sustainable building projects.

This position requires to work with architects, developers, main contractors and applicators on projects, proposing and provide suitable systems and solutions for projects requirement, and specifying construction chemical solutions into projects.

Role & Responsibilities

· Conducts knowledge sharing sessions and presentation of construction chemical (waterproofing, performance flooring & concrete repair) solutions to architects, developers or applicators.

· Designs specification to architects for new projects requirement.

· Follows up throughout the specification stage and secure projects.

· Generates project leads for sales team to follow up.

· Provides timely updates to sales team on projects status.

· To perform effective specification selling.

Requirements

· Understands the specification sales process - Foundations of the specification sales process

· Creating opportunities – Preferred marketing channels by clients.

· Managing opportunities – Professional communication skills.

· Managing relationships – Networking skills

· Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration or its equivalent

· At least 2 years of specification experience in construction industry

· Strong interpersonal skills

· Able to work independently as well as a team player

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD or other relevant software
