I work with top Banks and Financial Services clients who are actively seeking skilled professionals to guide clients in achieving their financial goals.
They offer opportunities for two types of roles: Financial Advisors/Consultants (FA) and Personal/Priority Bankers.
Wealth Managers provide tailored financial guidance across areas such as Wealth & Health Protection, Savings, Investments, Retirement Planning, and more, while building long-term client relationships.
Role Highlights & Key Differences
1) Remuneration
FA: Self-employed, Full Commission, Uncapped Income, no KPIs
First 2 years eligible for $2,000–$5,000/month allowance on top of CommissionsBanker: Permanent employment with Basic Salary + Monthly Incentives
No experience: $3,600–$3,800 Basic + $300 Allowance + Incentives
Experienced bankers: $4,000–$5,000 Basic + $300 Allowance + Sign-On Bonus + Incentives
Achieve 100% of monthly target to earn around $3,000 Incentives for a start, with uncapped potential for MORE
2) Client Acquisition
FA: Warm Market (family/friends/acquaintances), Events, Roadshows, Personal Social Media Marketing, and Cold Calling
Banker: Branch Walk-ins + Tele-prospecting via Bank's Client Database
3) Products
FA: Full range of Insurance products + Funds + Financial Planning services (Trusts, Wills, Estate Planning, etc.)
Banker: Insurance (via Bancassurance partner) + Funds + secondary Banking products & services
4) Working Style
FA: Fully flexible – choose your own schedule and work hours
Banker: Structured, KPI-driven, 5.5 workdays
5) Minimum Education
FA: GCE ‘A’ Levels, or Polytechnic Diploma and above
Banker: Polytechnic Diploma or Degree and above
In general, part-time Private Diplomas (e.g. Kaplan, MDIS, PSB Academy, etc.) do not meet MAS requirements. Please feel free to reach out if you’d like to verify your specific qualification.
Requirements
Open to Singaporean Citizens and Permanent Residents (PRs) only
Pass all Core CMFAS papers before commencement (guidance provided)
