Responsibilities
- PLC programming (IEC 61131-3 standard, ideally with CODESYS) and motion control system design & commissioning.
- Develop user-friendly visualizations (HMI/SCADA) and integrate IIoT technologies (MQTT, REST API, OPC UA).
- Install, commission, and fabricate automation components and mechanical setups to replicate customer applications.
- Analyze customer requirements and provide on-site troubleshooting, repair, system optimization, and technical demonstrations.
- Lead automation projects independently, maintaining structured workflows, technical documentation, and demo systems.
- Collaborate with customers, sales, R&D, and production teams to manage diverse stakeholders across projects.
- At least 8–10 years of presales support experience with strong technical expertise in automation solutions.
- PLC programming (IEC 61131-3; CODESYS preferred) and knowledge of common PLC brands (Siemens, Omron, Beckhoff, Allen Bradley).
- Design and commissioning of motion control systems (servo drives, VFDs, gear systems).
- Development of visualizations (HMI/SCADA) and integration of industrial networks/fieldbuses (IO-Link).
- Project planning for systems and machines using ECAD tools.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (30–50%) for customer support and project execution.
